Welcome to Pawfect Pals (www.pawfectpals.co.za). By browsing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. About Us
Pawfect Pals is a South African online pet store based in Somerset West, Western Cape, selling pet food, treats, health, grooming and accessory products for dogs, cats and birds.

2. Products and Pricing
All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT. We take care to make sure product descriptions, images and prices are accurate. If a price or product detail is clearly wrong, we will contact you before processing your order, and you may cancel for a full refund.
Product images are supplied by manufacturers and suppliers, and packaging may change from time to time.
Clearance Sale items are limited to the stock available and will not be restocked once sold out.

3. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. An order is accepted once payment has been confirmed. Many products are supplied through our suppliers. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you to offer a suitable alternative or a refund, as described in our Shipping Policy. We will never substitute a product without your agreement.
We may decline or cancel an order if we suspect fraud, if a product is unavailable, or if there is a pricing error. Any payment received will then be refunded in full.

4. Payment
Payment is made through the secure payment options shown at checkout. We do not store your card details.

5. Delivery
We deliver in Somerset West (R50 per order) and to the rest of Cape Town and the Western Cape (R100 per order). Delivery times are estimates. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns, Refunds and Your Rights
Returns and refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Where you buy online, you also have the right to cancel within 7 days of delivery under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, subject to the exceptions in that Act (for example, perishable goods and food items that have been opened).
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under South African law.

7. Pet Health and Product Use
Please follow the manufacturer's instructions on all products, especially flea, tick, deworming and health products, and choose the correct product for your pet's species and weight. The information on our website is general and does not replace advice from a veterinarian. If you are unsure, or your pet reacts badly to a product, stop using it and consult your vet.

8. Your Account and Use of the Website
You agree to give accurate information when ordering and not to misuse the website (for example, by trying to interfere with its security or placing fraudulent orders). You are responsible for keeping your account login details private.

9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including the Pawfect Pals name, logo, text and images, belongs to Pawfect Pals or its suppliers and may not be copied or used without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Pawfect Pals is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products. This does not limit our responsibility for defective goods or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act.

11. Privacy
We handle your personal information according to our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website at the time of your order applies to that order.

13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
